We’ve been here for our customers for over 35 years. Behind the scenes of this big UK-wide company, you’ll find a close-knit team. Our people are passionate about understanding what our customers need and making sure we get every detail right for their stay. We’re proud to have a diverse team and we want everyone to be able to bring their true personality to work. Every day is different here – and every person is too.

Our pioneering spirit is as true today as it has always been, and we continue to open hotels and continually improve our product, with a range of room options that suit every budget. By always putting ourselves in our customers’ shoes, we understand what’s most important to them is a consistent, clean and comfortable stay, in a location where they need to be, at a price they are prepared to pay.

With a mix of full-time and part-time roles, in our support office, in our 600 hotels and also within our maintenance team we are an ideal employment choice for people who are looking to build their careers in hospitality, and people looking for a second career later in life.

We actively encourage our people to be the best they can be, in whatever they choose to do. We advertise all our vacancies internally, so you’ll always be able to see opportunities for career development as they arise. And, whether you want to build your career behind the scenes in our Support Office or to shine front-of-house in our hotels, you’ll find a full induction, relevant training and continuous opportunities for review and development.

For our hotel colleagues we run the Aspire Programme in partnership with our training provider, which offers Hotel Managers and Assistant Hotel Managers the opportunity to complete a Nationally recognised qualification in Hospitality.

At the Support Office we work alongside specialist training providers who offer professional qualifications at all levels that can be funded via our Apprenticeship Levy. These include industry recognised qualifications in Finance, Sales, Digital, IT, Project Management, Customer Services and Data Analytics.

So, wherever you work in Travelodge, you will always have the opportunity to learn more.

Aspire is our internal development programme for our Hotel and Maintenance colleagues and offers development from Team Member to Hotel Manager.

Aspire has been developed specifically to help you build the skills and experience you need, either in your current role, or to help with your progression.
