Waiter / waitress

Job purpose

The Waiter / Waitress will be responsible for arranging the Bar/lounge area and ensure tidy upkeep for all customers. The Waiter/Waitress forms the continuous link between the bar and the bar lounge.

Key responsibilities

  • Welcome bar/lounge guests and take their orders
  • Ensure the guests receive high quality services and service provision
  • Stay attentive to the needs of the guests
  • Ensure the food order is made correctly by the kitchin staff and looks presentable for guests
  • Ensure that health and safety and procedures are respected (especially HACCP)
  • Keep the bar/lounge area clean and tidy, including public areas and tables

Entry requirements

Skills

  • Previous Food and Beverage experience would be an advantage
  • Ability to work under pressure and balance multiple prioritiesKnowledge of food and drink on offer and can advise the customer to what they are looking for

Qualifications

  • Food Handlers certificate would be an advantage, but training will be provided
